I’ve often wondered why cosmetics do not come with warning labels. Our bodies and our planet are polluted with many chemicals found in beauty products such as makeup and perfume.
Ingredients such as parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, germall, coal tar derivatives, urea, phthalates, toluene, formaldehyde, mineral oil, propylene glycol, triclosan, DEA, TEA, MEA, synthetic fragrances, PEG, BHA, petroleum, and others, have been proven to cause a wide range of cancers, reproductive issues, allergies, and a sizeable list of health problems. Not to mention that these things that pollute our bodies, also pollute the environment.
To see the health effects of your current cosmetics, go here:
In the search field of the website, type your brand of cosmetics, or simply type one of its ingredients. Information will appear about what it is that you are presently using on a 1 – 10 scale; 10 being the most harmful brand or ingredient.
Your skin is your largest organ. It is porous; everything you apply on your body, seeps within your pores. Therefore, what you put on your body as is important as what you put in it. Why not use beauty products that are kind to animals, kind to the planet, and kind to you?
What’s the solution?
After much research for cosmetics that are not harmful, yet still work, I’ve found a great website to share!
Visit:
You will see numerous products ranging from cosmetics to deodorants to hair color to sun protection to feminine products and much more! Each item’s ingredients are clearly listed. Best of all, the ingredients are natural!
I personally purchase my cosmetics from holisticbeauty.net. After just a small amount of experimentation with brands and colors, I’ve found my favorites! I’m confident that you will, too!
