Green Student U Joins MySpace and Facebook EcoLifestyle
Posted Jan 29, 2008 by Trish Smith Comments [0]

If you’re currently reading this blog post then you’re obviously online. And you can’t be a college student, have a computer, connect to the internet and live in the year 2008 without knowing about the two most popular social networking sites in the world: MySpace and Facebook.

These two websites have revolutionized the way that students interact with one another, and they’ve also helped further the entire green movement. On these sites you are able to meet people with similar interests, share music and videos, find long-lost friends and promote yourself and your organization. MySpace and Facebook offer, in my opinion, some of the best possible ways to meet other college students and green organizations around the world that you may never meet in person.

The main goal of Green Student U is to keep students up-to-date with green initiatives, so that’s why we’ve joined the ranks of other eco-friendly organizations across the globe and created MySpace and Facebook pages!

Social networking is all about sharing your cause, so with these pages we can spread the GSU word by giving others access to our website and our best blogs. But to be honest, the best part about joining these websites is that we are able to meet other students, groups and companies that care about the environment.

Check out our MySpace page at: http://www.myspace.com/greenstudentu.

Find us on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=9239668071.

There’s probably a 90% chance that you already have a MySpace or Facebook page, so why don’t you get on the green bandwagon and become our friend! And if you don’t already have a page, I highly suggest making one just so that you can speak out about your green causes.
