An article in the New York Times recently called for "safer" schools speaking to the way the schools are constructed http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/05/13/money-for-green-schools-not-safe-schools/?hp The idea behind this is that we have schools in severe weather-prone and earthquake-prone areas and that funds should also consider safe construction as well as green construction.
