Entire Homes Shipped to South Africa in a Box OurWorldToday
Posted Jun 20, 2008 by Trish Smith Comments [2]

BSB Design, a firm that has created unique residential homes for over 40 years, has come up with an amazing new type of home that could benefit millions of people in underdeveloped nations: it’s called The Abod.

This prefabricated home is being shipped to families in South Africa.

Easy as 1-2-3

You can literally put this home together in a few steps. It just takes 4 people, a screwdriver and an awl.

Plus, it is shaped like a Catenary Arch, which by definition is “the shape of a perfectly flexible chain suspended by its ends and acted on by gravity.”

This article was found on TrendhunterMagazine.com.

This amazing home is only $1,500 dollars, so with its affordable price and easy ability to ship worldwide, we hope to see these provide shelter for families everywhere.

That includes victims of the Myanmar cyclone disaster and much more.

I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it. Now all we have to worry about is the money that is intended to house these people is not being stolen by the governments of these people. Peace.
